Additional series

In addition to the mix of expansive (The Horizon) and intimate landscapes (The Environs) that make up the main photographs, three more recent nature series provide a new way of looking at the National Parks:

• The Ground: looking straight under our feet for an often overlooked view.
• The Sand Grains: the microscopic is revealed through using computer-controlled field equipment that makes sharp enlargements of 100 times possible.
• The Night: we return to the macroscopic and cosmic, using recent advances in digital photography that help to capture the stars
